Physical Ability Test
This pass/fail test consists of physical ability exercises that measure endurance, flexibility, and strength.

Medical Examination & Psychological Evaluation

Post Academy Examination
Candidates will sit the Post Academy Examination at the conclusion of the Academy. Those who achieve a passing score will be promoted from Cadet to Officer and will be invited to attend the Field Training Program.
AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION CRITERIA
During the selection process, each candidate will be evaluated to determine whether they possess the personal characteristics required for employment as a law enforcement officer. The recency of an indiscretion is a critical consideration in evaluating whether a candidate has matured or learned from the experience. The following may warrant automatic disqualification:

- Misdemeanor Conviction: Conviction of a misdemeanor relating to driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, including where the charge was reduced to Reckless Driving.
- Felony Conviction: Any felony conviction. A conviction that has been expunged and/or sealed may still be cause for disqualification.
Any of the following behaviors or shortcomings may be considered sufficient grounds for disqualification of an applicant at any stage of the recruitment process.
- Actual or attempted use of any method to obtain an advantage to which they are not rightfully entitled in an assessment or appointment.
- Obtaining, disclosing, or disseminating confidential test content and/or interview questions for the current recruitment or any prior recruitments with the intent of providing someone with an unfair advantage in the recruitment process.
- Participating in compiling, administering, scoring or correction of the assessment for a recruitment in which they are an applicant.
- Failure to disclose any issue which may be and/or may lead to an actual or perceived conflict of interest in the recruitment (e.g., familial, personal, and/or financial relationship with an individual involved in the recruitment process).
- Conviction of any crime which renders the person unsuitable for a position in law enforcement as provided under the law.
- False statements of material facts or attempted deception in the application, assessment, or interview.
- Dismissal from prior employment for a cause rendering the applicant unfit for any position.
